Coping with PTSD

Are You Living with PTSD?

In the United States, over eight million adults live with post-traumatic stress, and more than half of all people who have experienced a traumatic event have developed a disorder.

However, despite the prevalence of PTSD, many people still don’t know much about it.

In short, PTSD can develop after any event that makes you fear for your safety. Even if you don’t consider an experience to be “traumatic,” that doesn’t mean that you aren’t psychologically affected by the aftermath.

Post-traumatic stress disorder has always existed but wasn’t officially recognized by the American Psychiatric Association until 1980. This means that there are still many misconceptions about what it is, who is affected by it, and how to cope with it.

That’s why I’ve created Coping with PTSD, a webinar I’m hosting on Monday, January 16th at 7:00 pm CST to help share the facts about PTSD and help participants take the steps they need to feel better.

Get the Information You Need to Create an Effective Treatment Plan

Learning healthy strategies for coping with PTSD is possible, and feelings of hope, renewal, and control over your life CAN return.

The first step in recovery is becoming aware that you want and need support. My goal for Coping with PTSD is to show you that gaining the tools you need to cope with your disorder is within reach. Together, we’ll explore how simple lifestyle changes, as well as having a general awareness of your thought patterns, can make a dramatic difference in how you live your life.

Whether you’ve been officially diagnosed for years, or you’re just coming to the realization that you might be living with symptoms, this is your opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of what PTSD is, ask questions, voice concerns, and get the support you need.

If you feel that your grief, fear, anxiety, or negative thought patterns surrounding a traumatic event have escalated to a level beyond your control, don’t miss out on this webinar.
